| Hearing screenings Exposure to loud noises can lead to inner-ear damage and hearing loss, especially in high frequencies. In accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Occupational Noise Exposure Standard, all employers must establish a hearing conservation program for employees who are exposed to an eight-hour, time-weighted average of 85 decibels or more, such as in construction or industrial manufacturing. The program includes a base-line audiogram within the first six months of employment and annual audiograms thereafter. In addition, hearing protection must be provided to the employee at no cost. Audiometric screening services are provided at Work Care Center's Occupational Medicine clinic. Vision screenings A variety of vision screening examinations are offered, including: - distance
- near
- color
- peripheral
- depth perception
